LeRoy Butler to Headline Rally for Responsible Fatherhood
The Fatherhood Partnership is pleased to announce that Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler will be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Rally for Responsible Fatherhood. At the request of the Fatherhood Partnership, Governor Jim Doyle has declared June as Fathers Make a Difference Month for the second consecutive year. To kick off the month-long celebration, Rosalie Manor and its partners are hosting the Rally for Responsible Fatherhood, which will be filled with activities, games, and informational sessions for fathers and children.
“I have had the opportunity to play professional football, and even be a part of Super Bowl Championship team, but nothing can compare to the rewards of being a father,” said LeRoy Butler. “Fathers do make a real difference in the lives of their children, and it is one of the most important jobs any man can have.”
The Rally for Responsible Fatherhood will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 3022 West Wisconsin Avenue, in Milwaukee. The Rally for Responsible Fatherhood is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
